You’ll be involved in the delivery of end-to-end projects at some of the world’s largest accounts. This includes:

• Make use of programming and scripting skills to collect and preprocess raw data sources
• Develop and implement databases for efficient storage and management of data
• Use of statistical methods to analyze and generate useful insight from data
• Build and train mathematical models for forecasting and classification analysis
• Propose innovative ways to answer complex engineering challenges

You’ll be part of an international organisation and practice and will be based in Belgium (at client side, in our office or working remotely).

You’ll have the opportunity to coach and train other colleagues in the field of data engineering and big data

Your profile

• You have a bachelor/master degree with a link to data analytics like: data science, data mining, artificial intelligence, computer science, mathematics, ……
• 5 years of experience in data analytics related activities
• Good theoretical & practical knowledge in statistics
• Statistical hypothesis testing
• Regression methods for testing and inferring
• Associative and causal relationships
• Algorithm development and time series data analysis
• Good knowledge of programming languages like R, Python, ….
• A good knowledge of English and Dutch.

Desired technical qualifications

• Cloud technologies ( Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Hadoop, Spark
• Database technologies both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Ms SQL Server, Oracle) and non-relational (MongoDB)
• Supervised and unsupervised machine learning
