We are looking for a Crop Measurements Specialist to calibrate and validate the numerical crop flow simulations. You will have the following tasks:

• the mechanical design, electronics, sensors and data-acquisition of measurement set-ups
• Organizing and performing crop measurements during field test campaigns
• Responsible for processing and statistical analysis of the measured data

• You have a Master or Ph.D. in engineering, biomechanical engineering or material sciences
• You have experience with physical and mechanical characterisation of (bio)mechanical materials
• You have experience with measurements, sensors or developing test set-ups – data acquisition
• You can work precise and communicate well with others
• Open for work abroad for multiple weeks a year, during harvesting period
• Experience with DEM simulations or calibration of numerical simulations is a plus
